ABOUT
“As astronauts and space travelers children puzzle over the future; as dinosaurs and princesses they unearth the past. As weather reporters and restaurant workers they make sense of reality; as monsters and gremlins they make sense of the unreal.”

WhO

Children ages 6-10.
Staff ages 21-42.
Maximum capacity = 12 campers, 4 staff.
To ensure quality individualized attention for each child.

At Cardboard Rockets, we believe play is the most natural & effective teaching tools there is.

Through play, and following your child's lead, we will practice collaborative problem solving, team building and critical thinking skills.
We'll also build, paint, chase, battle, traverse and otherwise use our bodies to actualize our characters & stories, while building gross and fine motor skills.
WhAt

Each week your kids will come to camp and co-create an epic SCI-FI/FANTASY adventure with the other campers.
What direction we go, what story we create, is up to your child and their new friends!
Each day will consist of bringing together different aspects of that adventure. From costumes to spacecrafts we will DIY our way into making our story into a reality.

"I think imagination is at the heart of everything we do. Scientific discoveries couldn’t have happened without imagination. Art, music, and literature couldn’t exist without imagination. And so anything that strengthens imagination... ... can help us for the rest of our lives."
